THE EMOTIONS ROLE

As a general rule, it can be said that a good poker player is the one that knows how to keep calm in difficult situations and is able to control his emotions. The less information they transmit through their body language the best, as the opponent will be always trying to read their gestures.

However, sometimes emotions can be very beneficial for a poker player. For instance, they are an important factor that will help you to improve your confidence. Once you start winning a few hands, the joy and satisfaction you will feel will help you to learn how to trust yourself, which will be very beneficial for your poker strategy.

Therefore, good poker players must be able to control the emotions that can deteriorate their game, but also take advantage of the ones that can help to improve their poker technique.
